As per the official notification, candidates must possess the prescribed medical qualifications in the relevant specialty along with the required teaching and/or research experience. The maximum age limit is 50 years with relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules. The application fee is Rs. 3000 for General/OBC candidates, Rs. 2400 for EWS and SC/ST candidates (refundable for SC/ST candidates appearing in the interview), while PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
