The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has invited applications for 7,112 vacancies under various uniformed services including SCT Police Constable (Civil), SCT Police Constable (AR), SCT Police Constable (SAR CPL), SCT Constable in Special Protection Force, Fire Fighter, Warder (Male) and Warder (Female). Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government. The notified pay scale is Rs. 24,280-72,850. TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026 notification details
A total of 7,112 tentative vacancies have been announced under the recruitment. The vacancies are distributed among the Telangana Police Department, Telangana Special Protection Force Department, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Department, and Telangana Prisons & Correctional Services Department. Candidates must satisfy the prescribed educational qualification, age limit, physical standards, medical fitness and other eligibility conditions applicable to the respective post.
Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination as on 29 July 2026. Higher qualifications are also accepted. For the Fire Fighter post, candidates must additionally possess a valid LMV driving licence. The basic age requirement is 18 years to below 22 years as on 01 July 2026, with an additional 5-year upper age relaxation provided by the Telangana Government for direct recruitment to uniformed services. Further category-wise relaxations are applicable as per the notification.
The application fee will be generated through the online application system based on the posts selected. Candidates can pay using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or other online payment methods. The exact application start date and last date have not yet been announced and will be notified separately. The recruitment process consists of the Preliminary Written Test (PWT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Examination (FWE), Certificate Verification and final merit-based selection.
