SSC GD PET/ PST Date 2025: Staff Selection Commission (Ssc) Has announced PET and PST exam dates for GD Constable Recruitment 2025. This information has been given by CRPF in an official notice released on 29 July 2025. PET i.e. Physical Efficiency Test and PST i.e. Physical Standard Test will be organized from 20 August 2025 to 11 September 2025 at various selected centers in the country. This exam is for those candidates who have successfully passed the Computer Based Examination (CBT) conducted earlier.
In PET, candidates have to complete the prescribed distance by running in the timing time, the 5 km race for men from normal areas has to be completed in 24 minutes while women have to complete the 1.6 km race in 8.5 minutes, while some discounts are given in the race and time for the hills and special areas. In PST, the height of the candidates, weight and chest measurements for men are checked only, only those candidates who pass both Tests will be called for further documents verification and medical examination.
This time the recruitment process is being carried out to fill a total of 53,690 vacancies including forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, SSF, NCB and Assam Rifles. About 3.94 lakh candidates have been shortlisted for PET/PST, including 3.53 lakh male and more than 40 thousand female candidates. The admit cards will be released on CRPF website about 10 days before the examination, which the candidates will be able to download from their registration number and date of birth.

SSC has announced the date of GD Constable PET/PST exam 2025, it will be conducted as the next phase of GD Constable Recruitment in Physical Test CAPF, NIA, SSF and Assam Rifles. PET and PST exam will be conducted on 20 August- 11 September of 2025.
