Ahmedabad’s startup company Matter has introduced its first electric street bike Matter Aera with this thinking. This bike not only comes with modern looks and advanced technology, but also has a gear system, which makes it completely different from the rest of EV.
Strong engine and powerful battery
Matter Aera is introduced with 10kw electric motor and 5kwh fixed battery. The company claims that this bike can give a range of about 125 km once charged.
The liquid-cooling system given with it preserves the motor and battery for a long time. The most important thing is its 4 speed gearbox, which despite being electric gives a real riding feel like petrol bikes.
Attractive design and sporty look
The design of this bike is designed keeping in mind the youth. It has sharp LED headlight, split seat, sculpted side panels and tank design. The trailis frame of the bike appears from outside, which makes it even more stylish. Even the design of its alloy wheels is different and modern, which gives it a different identity from the crowd.
Safety and Riding Comfort
Safety has also been given full attention in Matter Ara. It has front and rear disc brakes, which are equipped with ABS. The front telescopic forks and the rear dual shoes are installed, giving it a smooth and balanced riding experience on every road. Three different riding modes Eco, City and Sports enable it to perform according to all kinds of needs.
Smart features and technology
The Aera has a fully digital instrument console, which comes with smartphone connectivity. It provides features like navigation, call, message alert and riding statistics. It also has modern features like keyless operation, OTA updates and front storage space, which makes it a premium EV.
Price and variants
Matter Aera is available in two variants in India. Its Aera 5000 variants are available in ₹ 1,82,789, while the ARA 5000+ variants are priced ₹ 1,93,826 (ex-showroom). This price makes it an attractive option for youth and tech-service riders.
