The new Jawa 42 has a 294.7cc liquid-cooled BS6 engine that generates a powerful power of 26.94 bhp and torque of 26.84 Nm. This engine has been called J-Panther and now it is more refined than before.
It also has a six-speed gearbox and slip and assist clutch, which makes long rides extremely comfortable. A new small radiator has been installed in the bike which makes the heat management even better.
Modern feel in retro look
The design of Jawa 42 relaxes like an old memory. It has a round headlamp, a fuel tank of the terdrop shape and a curved rear fender that gives it an iconic look. At the same time, its headlight is still found in traditional halogen, due to which its classic feel remains. Along with this you get two variants – analogue display in one and completely digital dashboard option in the other.
Better suspension and braking safety
The bike’s chassis has a double cradle frame and the suspension setup has now been improved, making riding and handling more comfortable than ever. In addition, dual channel ABS is available with front and rear disc brakes, which makes the braking safe and reliable.

Jawa 42 is available in 9 variants, which starts from ₹ 1,74,895 to ₹ 2,00,111 (ex-showroom). This bike is found in 13 attractive colors, including new colors such as Vega White, Voyager Red, Asteroid Gray, Odyssey Black, Nebula BLUE and CELESTIAL COPPER MATTE.
